Ultrasonic Fat Cavitation: The Breakdown

By now, we’re all familiar with the use of ultrasound in imaging, whether to provide information about fetal development or diagnostically to visualize internal structures in an adult. But did you know that in skilled hands, ultrasound can be an incredibly effective tool in reducing areas of stubborn fat? This treatment technology provides a painless — actually, relaxing — means of breaking down pockets of fat. I use three different pieces of ultrasound technology for the body that allow me to address superficial as well as thicker, deeper fat deposits on the abdomen, back, arms, buttocks, and thighs. Some fat is resistant to lifestyle changes and no matter what we do, those jiggly rolls and pockets remain.

Treatment takes place in my cozy, private office under soft lighting and freshly-laundered robes are always available for your comfort and modesty. To receive ultrasonic fat cavitation, you will lie on the treatment table on a supportive, ergonomic foam topper, and will be covered by a sheet and a soft, warm blanket. Only the area to be treated is exposed. A warm, non-toxic, body-safe conductive liquid is applied to the skin overlying the targeted area. Using my proprietary Radiantly Sculpted Method, a set of techniques that I learned and developed to enhance and accelerate results, I apply the ultrasound technology strategically and therapeutically based on my assessment of the type, location, and thickness of the fat layer. The ultrasound causes the fat cells to vibrate and creates microbubbles that disrupt the fat cells’ membranes, causing the cells to rupture and release their lipid contents.

Immediately after this fat-reducing treatment, I utilize several additional treatment modalities to tighten and smooth the skin, and to mobilize the drainage of all of those lipids that were released from the fat cells. This helps the skin to tighten down and smooth as the fat deposit shrinks, and aids the body in eliminating the liquefied lipids to reveal a slimmer, firmer silhouette.

In Montana, the average cost of abdominal liposuction ranges from nearly $5K to nearly $8K, and it’s painful AND requires recovery time of up to 6 weeks to resume strenuous activity. Three Shape & Refine sessions at Integrated Wellness cost only $749 and there are NO activity limitations afterward.

Note that TECHNIQUE MATTERS! In fact, the contouring specialist’s technique and the client’s self-care are the most important contributors to the final result. My original training taught me that 6-10 sessions are required universally to achieve stellar results, and using those techniques, I found this estimate to be true. However, after a great deal of technique refinement, I found that even better results are possible in about half as many sessions for virtually all of my clients. The results you see in my Before and After Gallery are typical! No fine print here. And remember, non-invasive body contouring, including ultrasonic fat cavitation, is pain-free and requires ZERO downtime! If you’re frustrated by stubborn fat and ready to do something about it, call or book on the Non-Invasive Body Contouring page linked in the top menu. I’ll be glad to help you achieve your body goals!
